Meet the Hypnotherapist – Max Flinders D.Hyp. C.Hyp. CNLP
I studied at the prestigious Surrey Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy (SICH) qualifying with a Diploma of Hypnotherapy and I am a full member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH).
My aim is to use hypnotherapy to help people live a better life.
An interest in psychology led me to study psychology at the University of Greenwich.
After university I began a career working with disabled children and young adults and found that I connected well with these individuals. I spent much of my time helping these people grow in confidence by giving them opportunities to learn and develop physical and mental skills, offering them my friendship, and providing support and advice when needed.
Currently I am working with children and young adults with autism, alongside my practice of hypnotherapy in Croydon.
Autism has opened my eyes and given me the opportunity to gain many insights into subtle and extreme human behaviours. Limited language skills, food addictions, OCD, violent behaviours and many forms of anxiety are a few of the issues I deal with on a weekly basis. Working with people with autism has also taught me patience, commitment and the ability to be understanding without judgement.
After going through some treatment myself, I gained new insights into hypnotherapy and its amazing benefits, so I decided I could reach more people than I could previously by practicing hypnotherapy in Croydon. Whilst I enjoy meeting new people, being able to help them overcome difficult or negative situations is the main reason why I chose to become a hypnotherapist. My goals are to use hypnotherapy in Croydon to help people become happy, healthy individuals reaching their full human potential.
